|
Q: How does the Coleman Research Group consulting process work?
A: After reviewing CRG's client request with you to verify your suitability, we provide your relevant background to our client for their review. Upon acceptance, Coleman Research Group works with both parties to schedule a private phone consultation. After the call, we reach out to both parties to assess the quality of the call. Upon submission of an online invoice for your time, we schedule and make payment to you.
Q: Do I need to prepare for the call?
A: In the majority of circumstances, no preparation is necessary. Our clients are looking for your overall expertise and insight to supplement other research and welcome extemporaneous discussion. As a general matter, advisors aren't compensated for research outside of consultations.
Q: Is there any other additional work beyond the telephone conversation?
A: Generally, no. In the uncommon case where follow-up work is requested, CRG will negotiate a separate pricing structure between the client and Executive Forum Member.
Q: What if I am asked a question about a confidential topic?
A: As per our Terms & Conditions, if an answer to a question requires you to disclose confidential information, you must not answer the question. You should indicate that you can't respond, and if the client persists, you should end the call and notify CRG.
Q: How am I paid?
A: After completing a call, Executive Forum Members log into our system to submit an invoice for their time at the previously agreed upon rate. CRG will issue payment on our normal monthly payment cycle date.
Q: Does becoming an Executive Forum Member obligate me to perform a minimum number of consultations?
A: No. You may accept or decline any consulting opportunity at your discretion.
Q: What do you do with my personal information?
A: We respect your privacy and keep your personal information confidential. Your information is never sold to a 3rd party.
