You can review the details of every opportunity and decline at will.

3) Receive prompt payment by check or direct deposit

How often should I expect to consult?
Frequency of consultations varies depending on your area of expertise and experience level. Consultations are scheduled at your convenience. You may decline a consultation at any time for any reason.

Who are CRG’s clients?
The majority of our clients are institutional investors (mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity firms, and investment advisors). We also work with management consulting firms, investment banks, and law firms on a selective basis.

Do I need to prepare for the call?
In the majority of circumstances, no preparation is necessary. Our clients are interested in hearing insights from your unique industry perspective. Telephone consultations typically last 30-60 minutes.

Is there any other additional work beyond the telephone conversation?
Generally, no additional follow-up work is required. Before engaging in any kind of outside work, we require you to submit a request to CRG for approval. This will ensure that the work is approved by our Compliance Department and that you can be paid for your time.

Why hasn’t anyone contacted me to schedule a consultation?
While we recognize your expertise in your industry, we are not always able to match you immediately with a client. We greatly appreciate your participation in the Executive Forum and will contact you as soon as we identify a match. If we have contacted you to discuss a potential project that did not result in a consultation, it is likely because the scope or the priority of the project changed.

What if I am asked a question about a confidential topic?
It is against CRG policy for you to discuss confidential or material, non-public information during a consultation and all CRG clients agree that they will not knowingly ask you to disclose such information. You should refrain from discussing a topic that is off-limits due to a confidentiality obligation. If the client persists, we ask that you disengage and immediately notify CRG. You will be compensated for consultations that you terminate for this reason.

What topics will I be expected to discuss during a consultation?
Clients are interested in hearing your unique industry perspective. Prior to a consultation, a CRG employee will contact you to discuss the topic of the consultation and share any questions the client has disclosed to us. Consultations may focus on general trends, recent industry developments, or on a particular product, service or company. Executive Forum Members are restricted from consulting on projects where the client’s company of interest is their current employer, or any other entity that may present a conflict of interest.

How am I paid?
Set your hourly rate when you register with the Executive Forum. After a consultation log into KnowledgeBroker® to invoice CRG for the time spent consulting with our client. You may opt to be paid by check or direct deposit. You may also select your preferred currency.

How do I determine my hourly rate?
Please consider industry standards for your profession and your level of experience when establishing your rate. You may contact CRG if you would like guidance in setting an appropriate hourly rate.

How can I donate my payment to a charity?
CRG has supported hundreds of charitable organizations through donations from our Executive Forum Members. We are pleased to offer this option to our Members. To direct your payment to a charity you must provide us with the charity’s U.S. Tax ID number upon invoicing.

What do you do with my personal information?
The Executive Forum is an internal network managed by CRG employees. We respect your privacy and keep your personal information confidential. Your information is never sold to a 3rd party. All CRG clients agree that they will not publically disseminate any information they have learned during a consultation.
