After spending a couple of years travelling the world, both before and after university, I wanted to work in a company that would feed my inherent curiosity and consistent need of a challenge. Coleman Research seemed like the perfect fit, with its fast-paced environment, entrepreneurial spirit and blue-chip client-base.
Almost 3 years ago, I started my journey at Coleman Research, a slight change from my personal journeys spent traveling through Australia, Southeast Asia, South America and Europe and a research analyst role at a small UK based company. Back then, I was a fresh-faced employee, ready to take the next step in my career. Much like the effort it takes to carefully plan and research before embarking on a trip, Coleman similarly allowed me to research industries, shadow my peers and learn a new discipline. The result? I began to gain more experience and confidence, take on more responsibility, and eventually work my way up to becoming a people manager. I’m now responsible for nurturing a team and look after a book of clients comprising of some of our largest clients across the entire EMEA region.
My experience globe-trotting has transcended into my role where I continue to explore different cultures and languages. I’ve found a career that allows me to work with clients and experts around the world every single day, thereby fostering my love for connecting the world. At Coleman, I am given the opportunity of working with some of the top consulting companies on projects that cover almost every industry including technology, healthcare, industrial, consumer, business and the list goes on. No two days are ever the same, especially when working with clients. I really enjoy the dynamic workflows and ability to interact with clients on different levels, whether it be a phone call, a quick cup of coffee or a lunch meeting.
As I stop and reflect on my time here at Coleman, I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and excited to see how much further I can stretch myself and what I can achieve in an environment with uncapped learning and growth opportunities. I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate my upcoming 3-year anniversary with a company where I have consistently learned as I rapidly worked my way up to a Senior Client Manager position.
