VISASQ/COLEMAN Expert Code of Conduct
Introduction
At VISASQ/COLEMAN, our goal is to connect global leaders and business investors with the expertise needed to make better decisions. Our organization relies on the valuable insights that individuals like you—the Experts in our network—bring to the table. This Expert Code of Conduct (our “Code”) sets out a summary of our conduct expectations when participating in our Expert Network Services, such as one-on-one consultations, surveys, direct Client placements, or other types of engagements involving direct interaction with VISASQ/COLEMAN Clients.
This Code is designed to help ensure a high-quality experience for both our Clients and Experts. Please note that this Code is in line with and does not supersede or modify the binding Terms and Conditions or any other trainings you’ve completed with us. However, acceptance of this Code is required for participation in our expert network.
1. Terms Applicable to Experts in All Regions:
Confidentiality and Conflicts of Interest
Experts must adhere to the Terms and Conditions at all times during their participation in our network, especially those regarding confidentiality and conflicts of interest. For example, Experts must not:
- Disclose confidential, proprietary, or material nonpublic information (MNPI).
- Discuss information that would violate any duties owed to current or former employers.
- Share externally any information they learn while participating in our network, including information related to VISASQ/COLEMAN Clients and projects. Experts are encouraged to share their status as an expert in our network, but should refrain from disclosing the identity of VISASQ/COLEMAN Clients or any project information on social media or elsewhere.
- Participate in any engagement that may pose a conflict of interest or violate any of the Expert’s obligations to employers or third parties.
Accuracy and Identity Verification
Misrepresentations or the fraudulent use of VISASQ/COLEMAN’s network will result in the immediate and permanent removal of an Expert’s profile, and with it, any future opportunity for engagements with our network. We expect Experts to:
- Provide accurate, complete information regarding their identity, experience, employment history, accreditations, and other details.
- Keep their profiles up to date to ensure VISASQ/COLEMAN can effectively administer our compliance program.
- Refrain from overstating firsthand knowledge and expertise to ensure VISASQ/COLEMAN can match Experts on the most relevant projects and provide the highest quality of service to our Clients.
- Complete all required identity verification processes, including those required via third-party verification platforms, like Persona, or on VISASQ/COLEMAN payment platforms, like Hyperwallet. In some cases, completion of enhanced identity verification procedures may be required to receive payments or for continued participation in our network.
Professionalism
We expect Experts to adhere to high standards of professionalism and integrity during their participation in our network. For example, Experts must:
- Be punctual and prepared to discuss their insights and experiences on one-on-one calls they are scheduled for.
- Respect VISASQ/COLEMAN employees, Clients, and fellow Experts during all interactions. VISASQ/COLEMAN maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward discrimination, abuse, and harassment, including sexual harassment. Hostile or inappropriate language in written or oral communications is never acceptable. Experts suspected of engaging in these behaviors will be subject to compliance review and may be removed from our network
- Keep in mind that engagement opportunities connected to your experience are dependent on our receipt of a relevant Client project. Our employees will reach out to you when we receive a project that is a good fit for your experience. There is no need to reach out to VISASQ/COLEMAN employees to request opportunities for engagement
Plagiarism and Use of AI
Experts are required to provide their own insights based on their own knowledge, experience, and expertise. As such, Experts must not take the work or ideas of another and represent them as their own.
VISASQ/COLEMAN’s Terms and Conditions prohibit Experts from using information sourced directly or exclusively from AI tools to generate responses to questions—whether oral (e.g., during one-on-one calls or phone vetting) or written (e.g., on vetting questionnaires or in written work). Violation of VISASQ/COLEMAN’s plagiarism and AI guidelines is taken very seriously and is grounds for removal from our network.
2. Terms Applicable to Experts in Each Region:
Ex-Japan Based Experts:
Payment
VISASQ/COLEMAN pays Experts through a third-party payment processing platform. Interaction with the platform may require Experts to complete certain processes, including identity verification or selection from a variety of convenient available payment methods.
Experts must submit invoices within 90 days following an engagement to be eligible for payment. Following a proper and valid invoice, Experts are typically paid within 30 days. If Experts are found to have violated VISASQ/COLEMAN's Terms and Conditions or compliance rules they will not be eligible for payment.
Occasionally, rescheduling and cancelations happen. VISASQ/COLEMAN will let you know of any changes as soon as we can. While we make every effort to reschedule engagements when possible, Client needs are subject to change. Experts are only paid for the time spent on engagements that they actually participate in. We are not able to compensate for cancellations, prep time, time spent completing vetting processes or interacting with our staff, or inconvenience you may incur from a rescheduling.
