It all started many years ago with a core belief: prosperity comes through deeper knowledge. There are barriers to knowledge around the world and our mission is to remove them – with a global platform for the direct exchange of mission critical insights.  

For nearly 20 years, Coleman Research has been trusted for rapid insights from hard-to-find experts by the world’s leading organizations. We are a subsidiary of VQ, a publicly traded company based in Japan, whose innovative solutions also help the world’s largest Asset Management Funds, Consulting firms and Corporations with primary research from subject matter experts. Coleman was acquired by VQ in 2021. Together, united by a common vision, we are bridging knowledge gaps with a global knowledge base.

Eiko Hashiba

After working in the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs, financial controller at L'Oreal Japan, and five years of PE investment at Unison Capital, Eiko founded walkntalk Inc. (now VisasQ Inc.) in March 2012 and officially released the service of VQ in October 2013. She holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Hide Uriu

Hidetoshi started his career at the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in 1999, and became Managing Director in 2012. He joined VQ in 2018 as CFO, then became COO and led the IPO and acquisition of Coleman. He is currently stationed in the US as Global CSO to lead the PMI with Coleman. He holds a Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Tokyo.

Kevin Coleman

Under Kevin’s leadership, Coleman has grown from a start-up to a leading primary research firm with an established reputation within the financial services industry. Before founding Coleman, Kevin was the Vice President of Sales and a member of the management team at Multex, the global financial information provider. He has a BA from the University of Colorado and holds an MBA from the FW Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.

Isaak Karaev

Chief Technology Officer

Isaak Karaev

Isaak Karaev is responsible for corporate strategy and oversees all aspects of the firm’s technology operations. He is a serial entrepreneur, having successfully built four software and information technology companies. Multex, which Isaak founded in 1993, was one of the first publicly traded Internet-based Wall Street information and technology companies. In 2003, it was sold to Reuters, where Multex’s products became a significant part of Reuters offerings. After leaving Reuters in 2004, Isaak founded InfoNgen, which uses Semantic Web and NLP technology to aggregate and categorize vast amounts of Internet based news, blogs and social media. InfoNgen was sold to EPAM Systems [NYSE:EPAM] in 2010. Mr. Karaev is an active advisor, investor and board member to a number of start-ups and growth-stage companies around the world.

Helen Materazzi

Helen Materazzi

Helen leads Coleman’s Human Resources function and brings over 25 years’ experience in global human resources, organizational effectiveness and business strategy execution. Helen has held senior HR positions at Degussa Corporation and Bowne & Co., Inc. and founded a consulting company offering executive coaching, talent development and organizational consulting services to a wide range of clients in diverse industries. She has a track record of helping cut through complexity, providing clarity and focus to leaders and energizing teams to deliver measurable results. Helen holds a bachelor’s degree from Rider University and studied at the University of Graz, Austria.

Andrew Corcoran

Andrew Corcoran

Andrew Corcoran is Coleman’s Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for oversight of the company’s global financial operations including budgeting, reporting, and business planning. Prior to Coleman, Andrew served in a number of finance and accounting roles of Fortune 500 and public accounting companies such as KPMG, Mastercard, and Bunge. His unique blend of public accounting and advisory foundation, with data analytics and process improvement allow Andrew to bring multi-dimensional viewpoints to the table. With a proven track record of building and supporting high performing teams, Andrew is committed to streamlining business processes to maximize long-term value. Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Boston University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Project Management Professional (PMP).

Conrad Gordon

Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel

Conrad Gordon

Conrad Gordon is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Coleman. He is responsible for oversight of Coleman’s global legal activities and policies, as well as ethics, corporate governance, compliance and regulatory matters. Prior to joining Coleman, Conrad served as Deputy General Counsel at Stifel Financial Corp., a sell-side securities broker-dealer, supporting their investment banking, fixed income and equity trading activities. Conrad holds a JD degree from Brooklyn Law School with an emphasis in securities regulation and a BA in history from Duke University.

Brad Mehl

Brad Mehl

Brad Mehl is Chief Marketing Officer at Coleman. He is responsible for marketing, sales enablement and the company’s Hosted Events. Brad brings 20+ years of experience as a GM and marketing leader in PE and VC-backed growth companies. His experience in the B2B information industry includes leadership roles at Penton (acquired by Informa), Thomasnet and LexisNexis. Brad is a former board member of the Software and Information Industry Association (Software division) and founder of Lively, a digital platform for live events. He holds an MBA from New York University and B.S. from Cornell University.

Russ Griffiths

Russ Griffiths

Russ Griffiths is Global Head of Consulting. He is responsible for Coleman’s Sales, Services, Operations, and P&L for the Consulting business. Russ has over 17 years’ experience in the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) space, where he managed global teams primarily focused on supporting Investment Banking Clients. Russ has a BA in International Business with Honors from the University of Lincoln, U.K., and a B.Com in International Business from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. Russ is from the U.K. but lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife and three children.

Meredith Humphries

Meredith Humphries is Global Head of Investment Management. She has been with Coleman for 7+ years, focused on growing and deepening relationships across our client base. Currently, she is responsible for sales, service, and operations for our global Hedge Fund, Mutual Fund, Private Equity, and Corporate Segments. Meredith attended Ohio University, with a double major in Marketing and Strategic Management. She lives in the Raleigh area with her husband and two children.

Alyssa Demas Quinn

Head of Global Client Relationship Management & Sales

Alyssa Demas Quinn

Alyssa Demas Quinn is Coleman Research’s Global Head of Sales. She oversees the client relationship management and new business development teams. Alyssa has 15+ years experience in sales and account management within the financial markets sector and has been with Coleman Research for 9 years (2004-2011 & 2020 to present). She graduated from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor Magna Cum Laude with a double major in English & Spanish. Alyssa lives in the Chicago area with her husband and 4 children.

Jason Wise

Jason Wise

Jason Wise is Coleman’s Head of Global Operations. He has been with Coleman for 10 years, and is responsible for support operations, as well as operational excellence and process improvement. Jason holds an MBA from Youngstown State University and a BA from the University of Mount Union. He lives in the Raleigh area with his wife and child.
